FAQS
• Why use Ticket2Final?
Because, more often than not, the only way to watch your team at the finals is to pay scalpers way more than face value for tickets. Ticket2Final is a great solution for fans who would like to go to the game without paying an arm and a leg. Ticket2Final allows you to purchase an Option at a small price, so you can secure a seat at the final.
• What is a Ticket Option?
The problem with traditional ticket sales is that tickets sell out to scalpers and brokers as soon as the finals teams are announced and tickets go on sale. Ticket2Final offers a revolutionary solution: purchase an Option at the beginning of, or during, the season. If your team makes it to the final, there will be a seat at the big game with your name on it! Option holders get to purchase a real ticket at face value.
• Will Ticket2Final notify me when Options go on sale?
If you want us to! When you sign up for an account, you can subscribe to specific events. Simply choose the event you want to be notified for and select “Notify me when Options go on sale.” We’ll send you an email automatically as soon as Options are available.
• What if my team reaches the final but I find out I can’t attend the match? Do I still have to pay for the ticket?
Of course not. If your team reaches the final and you decide you’d rather not attend, you are not obligated to convert the Option to a real ticket. Another fan from your team’s waiting list will be moved to the main list instead.
• Can I convert my Option if my team did not reach the final?
No. The Options purchased are for a specific team. If your team does not reach the final, your Option becomes invalid and you are not able to purchase a ticket through Ticket2Final.
• Where do Ticket2Final’s tickets come from? Are they official tickets?
They come right from the league itself. Leagues don’t make any money off of scalpers, so they don’t have a problem offering us a pool of tickets. For example, for Euroleague teams, tickets come straight from the Euroleague office. Ticket2Final offers a way for the league to fight the secondary market, letting real fans get tickets at the original price.
• When I purchase an Option, am I charged for the ticket as well?
No. When you purchase an Option you will be charged for the Option only. When your team progresses to the final, you can convert your Option to a real ticket using the Ticket2Final website or the official ticket outlet. If you choose not to buy a ticket at that time, that’s okay too.
• How is the Option price calculated?
We look at a number of variables, but we pay the most attention to two factors: how strong the team is and the time of purchase. The better the team, the higher the Option price. And the earlier you purchase an Option, the cheaper it is.
• Is the Option price deducted from the ticket price?
No. The organizing body determines the ticket prices. Payment for the tickets is transferred to them in full.
• How many Options can I order? Can I order Options for more than one team?
It depends on your league’s policies. For each competition, we list the maximum number of Options that may be purchased by one individual, and the maximum number of teams you can purchase Options for.
• How do I purchase Ticket Options if my group is bigger than the number of Options allowed per game?
To purchase a large number of Ticket Options, you can either contact our customer service or fill out a form on the Get Option page of our site.
• Can I cancel an Option order?
Unfortunately not. Otherwise people would purchase an Option and then cancel as soon as their team is eliminated from the tournament.
• Can I transfer/give my tickets to someone else?
Yes, but you’ll have to work with our customer service team to make sure everything goes smoothly. If you would like to transfer your Ticket Option to another member of our site, please contact customer service. The same thing holds if you would like to have someone else pick up your tickets at the event. Make sure to notify us in advance. That way we can confirm all the details so everyone’s happy.
• What happens when all the Options are sold out?
We create a waiting list. The waiting list is a queue of fans who are on hold to see if someone from the main list will decide not to buy their ticket. When that happens, the first person on the waiting list is transferred to the main list.
• How do I get on the waiting list
You need an account. You must be a registered user to register for the waiting list or the Market Place. If you are not, please click here to create your profile.
• Am I charged for being on the waiting list?
No. When you are placed on the waiting list, you are not charged. Should your team qualify for the final, and you are moved from the waiting list to the main list, you will be charged for the Option.
• How much time do I have to decide whether to convert my winning Option to a real ticket?
This depends on the competition. There are usually a few weeks between the semi-finals and the finals. Normally, the period to convert a winning Option to a real ticket is one week. Check your specific competition’s FAQ for the exact details.
• Will you notify me if I can convert my Option to a real ticket?
Of course! We send an automatic email to everyone who purchased Options for the teams that qualify for the final match. We will also tell you how long you have to decide whether or not you want to convert your Option.
• How do I collect my ticket?
This depends on how much time there is between when the participants are announced and the game itself. In situations where there isn’t much time, we’ll have the tickets waiting for you at the game. Just bring your e-receipt and the credit card that you used when you paid for them. Otherwise, you’ll have the option to receive them by post, as well.
• Can I use my ID or the e-receipt to collect the ticket if I forgot my credit card?
No. You’ll need both your e-receipt and the credit card you purchased the tickets with.
